Dr Sheraz Anjum (MBBS, FRACS, FAOrthA, FCPS) is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon. With over 15 years of extensive local and international experience, Dr Anjum specialises in managing pain while preserving motion. He is equipped with advanced skills in foot and ankle, trauma, and limb reconstruction surgeries. His leadership in these roles further strengthens orthopaedic care in the region.
Dr Anjum is now also serving as Head of Department – Orthopaedics at Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital.
Professional Background and Training
Dr Anjum completed his medical degree in 2002 and his orthopaedic specialty training in 2010. He gained significant experience in the Middle East, working as a foot and ankle, trauma, and limb reconstruction surgeon for four years. During this period, he collaborated with world-renowned surgeons, mastering the latest techniques in deformity correction.
As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, Dr Anjum has also completed accredited fellowships in foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction, and complex trauma management in Australia.
